As a small business owner myself, I understand how much heart and hard work goes into building a brand. That’s why I love helping other entrepreneurs and professionals showcase their story with photography that feels genuine and makes a lasting impression. My goal is to create images that not only look great, but also connect with your audience and give you the confidence to put your brand out there.

I know first-hand that running a business means wearing a lot of hats. Somewhere amongst actually doing the work, you're also expected to market it, keep your website current, show up on social media and somehow have a steady supply of great content to do it all with.
I've been wearing those hats myself for a while now. I started my photography business part-time in 2017 and took the leap into full-time self-employment in 2020. As timing goes, that was certainly an interesting year to do it!
It was also the year I first stepped into commercial video, telling the stories of local small businesses and the impact 2020 was having on them. Since then, connecting with other business owners has naturally led me into more commercial and branding work.
And I've discovered that I really love this side of what I do.
I genuinely love seeing other businesses succeed
One of my favourite parts of being a small business owner has been connecting with others doing the same thing. I regularly attend networking days in the Pukekohe area, and I love the community that comes from business owners cheering each other on, collaborating and finding ways to support one another.
I also understand the reality of having to market your own business. I'll freely admit that posting on social media isn't my favourite job either! Having a great bank of content ready to use makes that job a whole lot easier, and creating that content is something I'm very happy to take off someone else's plate.
More than just the people
Whether I'm photographing one person or an entire team, I'll give you the direction you need while keeping things natural, so the end result feels like your business rather than a collection of overly staged photographs.
People are often at the heart of a business, but they're only part of the story. I look for the details too: the spaces you work in, your products, your processes and the little things that make your business recognisably yours.
It's about building a collection of photography and video that shows not just who you are, but what you do, and gives you plenty of content to draw from when you need it.
A little about me outside of work
I'm based in rural Waikato and work with businesses throughout Waikato, Auckland and beyond.
When I'm not behind a camera or sitting at my computer editing, you'll usually find me hanging out with my husband and our German Shepherd, Captain, or pottering away on yet another project around our property. I'm also a country music fan and will happily take any excuse to turn it up.
Life out here is a nice balance to the busy side of running a business, and I'm pretty happy calling this little corner of Waikato home.
